Are Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen at odds?
During Sunday’s 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was observed in a moment of frustration, slamming a tablet on the sideline.
This incident isn’t the first time that Diggs has displayed frustration on the sideline. It was most notably showcased when he expressed his displeasure by directing his frustration at Allen during the Bills’ playoff loss to Cincinnati in January. That interaction fueled speculation about Diggs’ dissatisfaction throughout the offseason.

However, Allen informed reporters today that the Pro Bowl wideout’s frustration last week was directed solely at himself, and not at anyone or anything else.
“I know a lot of people are throwing different ideas of what he was mad at on the sideline. He was mad at himself for running the wrong release on a route,” Allen said. “He’s a competitor. He’s a fiery competitor. I’m tired of hearing all this nonsense from people, because there’s a lot of guy who have that same fire in the league that don’t get talked about.
“Frankly it kind of ticks me off when people wanna say stuff about him, but we’ll keep all that internal here.”
For the Bills, who currently stand at 3-2 this season, aiming for AFC supremacy hinges on the unity and peak performance of Allen and Diggs. This makes Allen’s support of his primary target an encouraging development.
