There seems to be some speculation surrounding Mac Jones, as suggested by Colin Cowherd.
During his show on Fox Sports 1, Cowherd hinted at having inside information about Mac Jones but refrained from disclosing it, which is surprising given that one might expect him to be eager to break the news.
Cowherd said:
“We’re hearing some stuff on Mac Jones, we’re not gonna talk about it on the air because we don’t want to yet… we’re hearing stuff that isn’t great.”
The recent attention on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones escalated after Sauce Gardner accused him of a low blow during a game. Jones, who has faced accusations of unsportsmanlike conduct in the past, had previously addressed Gardner’s claims.
Jones explained that he was rising after a tough tackle on a quarterback sneak and was offering his praise to the defense. He insisted that the contact with Gardner’s private area was unintentional.

Both current and retired NFL players referred to Jones’ previous actions to support their claims of deliberate intent. It was reported that the league investigated the incident and decided not to suspend him. Given his history, it’s possible that Jones may continue to face accusations of being a “dirty player.”
In the 2023 season thus far, Jones has participated in three games for the Patriots, completing 64.8 percent of his passes for 748 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has also rushed 11 times for 53 yards.
As of now, the Patriots hold a 1-2 record for the year.
