Tyreek Hill isn’t mincing words.
Following the Miami Dolphins’ Sunday Night Football victory over the New England Patriots, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill made no effort to sugarcoat his feelings towards Patriots fans. Hill didn’t hold back, describing them as “some of the worst fans in the NFL” and alleging that they had uttered objectionable comments during the game.
When asked about the exhilaration of securing a 24-17 win, Hill expressed, “It felt tremendous, man. Those fans are some of the worst fans in the NFL. And I’m going to stand by that; they are really unpleasant. Some of the things they were saying, I wouldn’t repeat in polite company. So yeah, it felt great to bid farewell to the fans, and I’ll do it again. Goodbye.”
Hill refrained from specifying the exact content of the remarks emanating from the Gillette Stadium stands.

This isn’t the first time the 29-year-old has encountered issues with Patriots fans. In a 2018 game in Foxboro, a fan faced disorderly conduct charges for hurling a beer at Hill after he scored a 70-yard touchdown.
Despite his critique of the fans, Hill offered compliments to his opponents and acknowledged, “it always feels good to beat probably one of the greatest coaches of all time,” referring to Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
The Dolphins’ victory on Sunday night was far from a cakewalk, as they had to contend with a challenging road environment and lost Jaylen Waddle to a concussion during the game. These challenges only heightened Hill’s pride in his team’s ability to secure the win.
“To come into a tough environment like this and win a game on a Sunday night, it feels good—especially the way this team played, the way this team persevered through adversity,” Hill noted. “It demonstrates that if you put in the mental and physical work and come into this game prepared, you’ll be equipped to handle situations like that.”
The AFC East showdown ultimately came down to one of the final plays. With the Patriots trailing 24-17, which proved to be the final score, a sack on Mac Jones on first down cost them eight yards, and they couldn’t recover. With 1:10 left in the game, a second-and-18 situation turned into a third-and-18, where they could only gain 14 yards, setting up a critical fourth-down scenario.
