Shannon Sharpe made his debut on “First Take” this Labor Day morning, transitioning from his previous role at Fox Sports 1. However, it seems that the former Fox Sports 1 personality may require some time to adjust to his new environment.
During his initial appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” Sharpe inadvertently referred to his new debate partner, Stephen A. Smith, as his former partner, Skip Bayless.

Having uttered “Skip” countless times throughout his television career, Sharpe is understandably in a period of adaptation as he gets accustomed to his fresh debate partner.
“First Take” airs on ESPN daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time.
