After it was pointed out that the “End Racism” slogan on NFL endzones is being replaced, fans began cracking jokes.
While this change may not be happening league-wide, it seems that social justice phrases might no longer be featured in those areas in the upcoming season.
The NFL introduced the words “End Racism” and “It Takes All of Us” on endzones three years ago, but during a recent preseason game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cleveland Browns, a fan noticed the slogan had been replaced with “play football.”
The NFL will no longer ‘End Racism’.
They will Play Football. pic.twitter.com/hgZaXmz1sA

Congrats to the NFL on ending racism!

Well, the “end racism” slogan was kinda ironic behind the “Chiefs” wordmark, no?
— Brett Esch (@brettaesch) August 26, 2023
Hooray. After painting grass for 2 years racism has been solved!

Oh no. That was the last hope unlike us raising our children right in our own homes.

Keep politics out of my football

You referring to that media/ liberal pushed down everyone's throat racism??

The whole "I hate the woke NFL and will never go back" crowd sure pays a lot of attention to what is happening with the end zones in the NFL.

Tell the MSM to quit propagating racism and there would be no need for it in the first place

The word Redskin is objectively derogatory. Lamar Hunt did everything in his power to be respectful and to have input from regional tribal elders in logos and other symbolism including the drum they use. It didn't seem to offend those folks. Why do you care?

I suspect the NFL is permanently Woke. I will still watch my hometown team but cutting way down on other games.

The Chiefs narrowly defeated the Browns 33-32, with backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert putting on a solid performance.
Wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette also had a standout game, accumulating 101 receiving yards and a touchdown.
We won’t have to wait too long to see if the NFL completely eliminates the slogan, as the 2023/24 season is scheduled to kick off on September 7 with a game between the Chiefs and the Detroit Lions at home.
