Travis Kelce, the loquacious tight end who consistently makes the Pro Bowl and has won the Super Bowl twice, has gained a reputation for being outspoken and gregarious.
However, there are instances where he chooses to remain tight-lipped and dodge certain questions.
This was evident during a recent interview with the NFL Network, particularly in light of the controversy surrounding his connection with country/pop star Taylor Swift, which has been deemed “FriendshipBraceletGate.”
This situation arose after Kelce publicly acknowledged attempting to pursue Swift during one of her concerts at Arrowhead Stadium.
During an episode of his podcast “New Heights” with his brother, Jason Kelce (who is a center for the Philadelphia Eagles and also a Super Bowl champion), Travis revealed feeling somewhat disappointed that he didn’t have the opportunity to give Swift one of the friendship bracelets he had specifically made for her, featuring his phone number.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.
So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said to his older brother.”
After all these weeks later did anything pan out with Taylor and Travis? I mean the story had to get back to her, and clearly Kelce was/is genuinely interested in her. If you type in Travis’ name on Google Taylor will autofill, that’s just how connected they are on the internet. But in real life, not so much.

During an interview with Andrew Siciliano at Chiefs camp, the experienced NFL reporter questioned Kelce about Swift, which led to an enthusiastic response from the talkative tight end.
“I said what I said, and I meant what I said when I said. And you know what…it is what it is. I’m not going to talk about my personal life. I know what you writers want to hear and I’m not going to give you anything. And that’s going to wrap it up here,” Kelce responded.
