It’s Brittany Mahomes’ world, we’re just living in it?
This week has been eventful for Brittany Mahomes as she caused a stir by expressing her disappointment at the apparent unavailability of her favorite dish, coconut shrimp, at Red Lobster restaurants.
She took to social media to share her frustration, stating, “Red lobster really got rid of their coconut shrimp in case anyone was wondering…”
In response, Red Lobster assured her that coconut shrimp is still on the menu and encouraged her to reach out through direct message to arrange for her to enjoy the dish.
“Brittany, we think you’re shrimply the best and we’re sorry you didn’t get your coconut shrimp! It’s still on the menu so don’t worry. Shoot us a DM to coordinate getting your fill!”
In a statement to Newsweek, Red Lobster reiterated their offer and expressed their appreciation for Mahomes as a fan.
Jeffrey Matray, VP for marketing and communications at Red Lobster, shared that their Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp remains highly popular and they would like to ensure Mahomes and her husband, Patrick, get their fill of the dish.
Aside from her Red Lobster experience, Mahomes also faced a challenging situation when she had to take her baby son, Bronze, to the hospital.
She described the incident as “scary” and shared that he had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts.
Mahomes expressed her fear and anxiety during the 30-minute trip to the emergency room.
However, she later posted a more peaceful picture of Bronze peacefully sleeping, mentioning that he needed extra snuggles due to a new tooth coming in.
What a crazy week.
