Despite not finishing in the top 10 for the 2022 Heisman Trophy voting, Anthony Richardson, a former standout at the University of Florida, gained significant attention from NFL teams due to his impressive performance at the draft combine.
He broke several quarterback records, including the highest vertical leap for a QB since 2003. At 6’4″ and 244 lbs, Richardson’s size is comparable to Cam Newton during his prime at 6’5″ and 248 lbs.
Although Richardson is gaining popularity as a professional athlete in Indiana, many fans outside the state are unaware of his off-field rap career, where he goes by the name “G-VO” as a recording artist.

The Indianapolis Colts selected him as the #4 pick in this year’s draft and recently announced him as their starting quarterback, beating out Garner Minshew.
In his preseason debut against the Buffalo Bills, Richardson threw for 67 yards on 12 pass attempts, with no touchdown passes and one interception. He also ran for seven yards.
Hopefully, his NFL career doesn’t get overshadowed by his success in rap.
