Dwight’s got jokes.
Dwight Howard, a former NBA star, jokingly extended an invitation to several athletes who were eliminated in this year’s NBA playoffs to join him in Taiwan. Recently, he was joined by one of the NBA’s greatest players, who announced in November that he would be taking his talents to Taiwan to play for the Taoyuan City Leopards. The 36-year-old center has been dominating, racking up an average of 23 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assists.
He even started recruiting failed playoff performers in the NBA last week. This week, he pretended to call LeBron James and convince him to join him in Taiwan. However, after leading the Lakers to the Western Conference finals, James ominously stated that he had “a lot to think about” going forward with the game of basketball.

Although he has one season remaining on his contract with the Lakers worth $46.7 million for 2023-24, along with a player option for the following season worth $50.4 million, he will not be headed to Taiwan.
At least Dwight is keeping himself entertained.
