Colin Kaepernick continues to hold hope for a return to the NFL, although the chances appear slim at this stage.
The ex-NFL quarterback made headlines in 2016 for taking a knee during the national anthem and has since stayed dedicated to his training, including practice sessions with NFL wide receivers.
After a recent workout, Kaepernick’s girlfriend Nessa sent a clear message to the National Football League: “DISCIPLINE. DISCIPLINE. DISCIPLINE.”
It’s impressive to witness Kaepernick training alongside NFL players, even if the possibility of a comeback seems unlikely. Considering he hasn’t played professionally for over five years and his age is a factor, the odds are stacked against him.
Nevertheless, Kaepernick’s determination to return to the game remains evident, despite the highly improbable nature of it. Nessa’s unwavering support for him deserves admiration, as she expressed with the hashtag “#STILLWITHKAP.”
The question remains whether any NFL team will be willing to sign Kaepernick.
