Despite recent success under Sean McDermott and Josh Allen, including four straight double-digit win seasons and three consecutive AFC East division titles, the Bills have only managed to advance past the Divisional Round once.
This has led to ridicule, with a photo of the Bills displaying a Lombardi Trophy banner at their training facility going viral, emphasizing the irony of the organization never having won it all. NFL Twitter has been particularly active in making jokes about the situation.

Additionally, it should be noted that the Bills were considered favorites to win the Super Bowl last season but were defeated by the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round.
They have not made it past this round since their trip to the AFC Championship Game in 2020, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills are one of twelve NFL teams that have yet to win a Super Bowl championship.
Their journey towards winning their first begins with a Monday night game against the New York Jets on September 11th.
