During a recent episode of Paul George’s “Podcast P,” he invited Klay Thompson as a guest to discuss Thompson’s taunting incident towards Devin Booker during a game between the Warriors and the Suns.
Thompson openly admitted that he was not proud of his actions, explaining that he was emotionally charged at the time because Booker outperformed him.
He acknowledged that his behavior did not age well and expressed regret for flexing his four championship rings, stating it was unnecessary because everyone already knows about his accomplishments.
Thompson acknowledged that his game was not at its best, and he admitted that like everyone else, he too has moments of weakness.
In response to George’s podcast episode, Booker seemingly called him out for attempting to provoke Thompson.
Booker commented on ESPN’s Instagram post, asking if George was satisfied with Thompson’s response to the question.
The interaction did not end there.
George, during a Twitch stream of Call of Duty, responded to Booker’s comment by criticizing it as a “sorry ass response.”

He also mentioned that he would be more assertive next year to see who is truly tough. Overall, the incident involved Thompson regretting his actions towards Booker, Booker questioning George’s intentions, and George responding defiantly during a Twitch stream.
The NBA season can’t come soon enough.
