Jimmy Butler was fined for blowing off the postgame presser following the Heat’s Game 3 win. However, we all know that Jimmy Buckets plays by his own rules.
On Tuesday, the NBA fined Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler for breaking league rules. Butler was said to have not made himself available for media interviews following Game 3 in South Beach. The NBA PR team announced that Butler had been slapped with a $25,000 fine.

Although it is a common action from the players to refuse post-game press conferences when they are frustrated following a loss, in Butler’s case, he left his teammates to discuss the victory after a blowout win. Even being up by 30 at the end of the third quarter, Butler continued to sit on the bench for the final 12 minutes. He opted to stay in the locker room after the game.
Boston fans have joked about the fine being not harsh enough.
While many see the fine as soft, it remains to be seen whether Butler will meet with the media after Game 4 on Tuesday.
But we know Jimmy is going to do Jimmy no matter what.
