Brooks Koepka and his wife, Jena Sims, recently celebrated the birth of their son, Crew.
The couple happily shared a photo of themselves with their newborn, prompting Sports Illustrated to playfully predict him as the future champion of the 2045 Masters.
Brooks encouraged his son to strive for this accomplishment, hoping he could achieve what his dad hasn’t been able to.

Although Koepka has had a successful career, securing consecutive U.S. Open titles in 2017 and 2018, as well as his third PGA Championship this year, he has yet to win the coveted Green Jacket at the Masters.
This year, he finished tied for second with Phil Mickelson, both trailing behind Jon Rahm by four shots at Augusta National. Despite starting the final day with a four-shot lead, Koepka expressed disappointment in his performance, attributing it to both his own mistakes and some unfortunate breaks.
“Obviously it’s super disappointing, right? Didn’t play good enough to win,” Koepka said after the closing-round meltdown. “Hit some shots where I also didn’t feel like I got some good breaks. … Didn’t feel like I did too much wrong, but that’s how golf goes sometimes.”
Koepka had come close to winning the Masters in 2019, finishing just one stroke behind Tiger Woods alongside Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele.
However, in 2021 and 2022, he failed to make the cut. Given that Koepka is only 33 years old, he will likely have more opportunities to chase his dream of winning the Masters before his son, Crew, can turn the playful prediction into a reality.
