Before Bill Goldberg became famous for his 173-match winning streak during the well-known “Monday Night War” between WCW and WWE, he had a career as a defensive tackle for the Atlanta Falcons, where he played alongside Deion Sanders.
Today, he is recognized as a WWE Hall of Famer and a semi-retired professional wrestler.
He has a 17-year-old son named Gage, who is following in his father’s footsteps as a football player.
Last week, Gage received a PWO offer (preferred walk-on) from the University of Alabama, where he excels as a middle linebacker and also plays tight end. On Monday, Alabama Crimson Tide Rolling shared a heartwarming photo on Facebook, showing Gage in a home jersey with a football, alongside his renowned father.
Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 215 pounds, Gage also holds a Division 1 offer from the University of San Diego.
However, he has yet to visit his father’s alma mater, the University of Georgia.
The next generation of Goldberg is now!
