Julius Erving, also known as “Dr. J,” was an immensely talented and thrilling basketball player who left a lasting impact on the sport.
His incredible acrobatic moves influenced and inspired future basketball legends like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James, shaping the NBA as we know it today.
Although Erving retired in 1987, he has remained relatively low-key over the years.
However, he occasionally resurfaces to share his opinions on current NBA players.
Recently, he revealed his personal list of the ten greatest NBA players ever, which notably did not include LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, or Stephen Curry.
