Dwight Howard was faced with allegations of sexual assault from a man who filed a lawsuit against him.
In response to these accusations, Howard addressed the issues with Angela Yee.
Despite denying the claims made against him in the lawsuit, Howard now finds himself faced with another lawsuit. The second lawsuit has been filed by Louis Pellegrino, a former butler of Howard, who is suing both Howard and his company, 12 Bray.
Via Radar Online:
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Louis Pellegrino, 38, sued Howard and the basketball pro’s company 12-Bray LLC.
12-Bray manages and operates Howard’s personal residences (including his Georgia estate), personal properties, businesses, and employees in several states, according to the suit.
Pellegrino claims that he was made to work excessively long hours of up to 20 hours a day without any days off, and that he was not paid his promised annual salary of $80,000. Pellegrino also alleges that Howard warned guests not to trust him because of his alleged friendship with Howard’s ex-partner, Melissa Rios. Moreover, Pellegrino states that he was accused of stealing a $250,000 engagement ring from Howard after being asked to take it for repairs.
The lawsuit states that Howard falsely accused Pellegrino of theft without any justification, instead of filing an insurance claim for the missing ring. Pellegrino claims that he was eventually fired in January 2022 for no valid reason, with Howard accusing him of having a secret relationship with his fiancée, Te’a Cooper.
Pellegrino is seeking unspecified damages for severe emotional distress and unpaid wages.
