He married his longtime partner, Anne de Paula, in a beautiful ceremony held in Southampton. The couple took memorable portraits together on Cryder Beach before exchanging vows in a church ceremony.

Speculations about their relationship began in 2018 but were later confirmed when they publicly acknowledged their love for each other. During a challenging moment for Embiid in the league, when the 76ers were eliminated from the 2019 Eastern Conference finals on a buzzer-beater by Kawhi Leonard, de Paula stood by his side, providing support.
They now have a son named Arthur, born on September 16, 2020, who brings immense joy to their lives. While the wedding took place on Long Island, it is worth noting that Embiid has expressed his desire to win an NBA championship, regardless of the location.
In an interview, he stated that he is determined to achieve this goal, whether it be with the 76ers or any other team that gives him the opportunity.
The possibility of Embiid joining the New York Knicks was raised by ESPN’s Zach Lowe and Dave McMenamin shortly after his comments about winning a championship.
There have been murmurs and connections between Embiid and the Knicks, particularly due to the relationship between Leon Rose and the player. However, it is also acknowledged that Daryl Morey, the 76ers’ general manager, will continue to shape the team according to his vision.
Although Embiid has yet to win an NBA championship, he now has a different kind of ring to cherish, symbolizing his union with de Paula after their memorable wedding ceremony.
