Are the Jets doomed for a horrific start this season?
Although the New York Jets are considered Super Bowl contenders, their difficult schedule early on may put them at a disadvantage.
According to analyst and former teammate of Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, the Jets could face a tough start to the season and potentially have a record of 1-5.

Craig Carton, a passionate Jets fan, disagreed with Jennings’ prediction, but Jennings stood by his statement.
The Jets’ schedule for the first six games consists of challenging opponents, including teams with Pro Bowl quarterbacks, Super Bowl-winning head coaches, and recent playoff appearances.
Even though the Jets have a bye week in Week 7, their schedule remains demanding heading into late October.
While the current roster may be an improvement from last year, the Jets have 10 games against playoff teams from the previous season, making it difficult to consider them playoff or Super Bowl contenders at this point.
If they face a slow start to the season, the Jets will have to fight tooth and nail to remain relevant in December, let alone January.
