Greetings, NFL newcomers.
The seasoned players of the San Francisco 49ers didn’t hold back when it came to pulling a prank on the rookie wide receivers during a trip to Las Vegas.
In a video posted on Isaiah Winstead’s Instagram story, star wide receiver Deebo Samuel is seen holding a dinner bill that amounted to a staggering $15,000.
Surprise, surprise, it was the rookie wideouts who had to foot the bill.

This incident perfectly illustrates the well-known phrase “Welcome to the NFL, rookie,” which is commonly used when first-year players experience a significant setback or unexpected turn of events on the field.
However, the 49ers’ rookie pass-catchers quickly learned that this line can extend beyond the realm of competition. The San Francisco team boasts one of the league’s most formidable receiving units, featuring talented individuals such as Samuel, the speedy Brandon Aiyuk, tight end George Kittle, and versatile RB Christian McCaffrey.
Having finished the previous season with an impressive record of 13 wins and reaching the NFC Championship Game for the third time in four years, the 49ers will commence their 2023 season with an away game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10th.
