Nikola Jokic can’t seem to shake the tax man.
Reportedly, Nikola Jokic’s net worth stands at roughly $30 million, thanks, in part, to his massive $272 million contract extension with the Denver Nuggets in 2022. As of the current season, the Serbian center will be earning around $32 million, which, when added to his previous NBA salaries totaling over $150 million, makes for an impressive financial portfolio. Moreover, he reportedly adds another $750,000 per year from various endorsement deals.
But an eye-opening tweet shows what he actually takes home following taxes.

A Miami Heat player earns nearly the same amount over the course of his contract…
Despite making $10M less in salary than Nikola Jokic.

Jokic was born on February 19, 1995, in Sombor, Serbia, where he spent most of his formative years with his family. He developed an early passion for basketball, influenced by his older brothers, and quickly established himself as a talented player, first in youth basketball and later in the Serbian professional league, shortly after graduating high school, without attending college.
Nikola Jokic’s Nuggets are currently tied with the Miami Heat 1-1 in the NBA Finals. Jokic will try to lead the Nuggets to a Game 3 win on Wednesday night.
