DeAndre Hopkins Unnecessarily Takes a Shot at Dak Prescott When Asked About Playing With Him
DeAndre Hopkins not a fan of America’s QB?
This offseason, rumors surrounding DeAndre Hopkins being traded continue to swirl. While absent from the Cardinals’ voluntary organized team activities, Hopkins has been active in podcast interviews. Recently, he mentioned quarterbacks he admires and would like to play with. This list included Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes.
Former NFL WR Brandon Marshall suggested Dak Prescott as a potential teammate, to which Hopkins quickly shook his head.

Despite the Cowboys having Prescott as their franchise quarterback, Hopkins’ interest in playing for the team seems unlikely, especially as the Cowboys lacked quality wide receiver depth last season. Hopkins’ potential addition to the team would increase their options and possibly lead to a bounce-back year for Michael Gallup.
However, the possibility of Hopkins playing for any of the teams he mentioned is only feasible through video games as his contract remains an issue, despite him potentially having productive years left.
DeAndre Hopkins 2022 season was one to forget. While they may be decent numbers for some wide receivers, the All-Pro only managed three touchdowns and 717 yards on 64 receptions.
