Roger Goodell Drops Reference to ‘NFL Script’

The notion of an “NFL script” has become a popular topic among football fans, prompting jokes from former and current players alike. There is no evidence to suggest that such a script truly exists, but NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently referenced the jokes regarding it in relation to the Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Watch Goodell talk about it below:

While Chiefs fans reacted positively to Goodell’s lighthearted remarks, some on social media were less pleased, as Goodell remains a contentious figure in the eyes of many football followers. Despite this, there are still rumors and speculation circulating throughout the league, making for an exciting offseason ahead. Meanwhile, some fans continue to hope for their favorite team to emerge victorious, even if it cannot be planned out in a script.

Overall, whilst the idea of an “NFL script” may be a source of amusement, it is ultimately irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. But if there was an actual room full of NFL script writers this would be an incredible way to hide it.
