WATCH: Bryson DeChambeau Drills Fellow Golfer with Errant Tee Shot

Bryson DeChambeau caused controversy once again on the golf course. DeChambeau accidentally hit one of his fellow competitors with a tee shot during the first round of the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in New York.

This incident involved fellow golfer Kenny Pigman, who was preparing to hit his drive on the 18th tee box. Suddenly, DeChambeau’s poorly hit ball struck him in the back. Check out the ESPN replays below:

As Pigman leaned over his ball, another ball abruptly headed straight towards. It turns out that the ball was hit by Bryson DeChambeau on the 17th hole which was just under 200 yards away.

Fortunately, “fore” was called giving Pigman enough time to take cover. Unfortunately, he was still struck by the stray shot in the back of his shoulder.

Despite DeChambeau’s reputation for irritating his fellow golfers, he did not intend to hit Pigman of course. Shortly thereafter, he approached Pigman to offer his apologies.
