Bad Bunny Poaches Mets #1 Prospect From Baseball’s Most Powerful Agent

In a stunning turn of events, Bad Bunny, the internationally acclaimed music superstar, has managed to poach clients from Scott Boras, the renowned top agent in baseball, confirming the new reality we live in. Boras, who represents approximately 175 professional baseball players through Boras Corporation, is Forbes’ ‘Most Powerful Sports Agent in the World’. The agency has negotiated nine $200 million+ MLB contracts, making it unbeatable in the industry.

Part of Boras’ portfolio was Francisco Alvarez, the Venezuelan catcher who recently signed with the Mets and is considered their top prospect. However, Bad Bunny’s new venture, Rimas Sports, co-founded with fellow executives, Noah Assad and Jonathan Miranda, with baseball legend Ivan ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez as an ambassador, has convinced Alvarez to switch representation to agent William Arroyo.

Lasting only a couple of weeks, Rimas Sports has already signed an impressive line-up of players, including Santiago Espinal, Yonathan Daza, and Wilmer Flores, among others.

In the music world, we accomplished success by knowing how to develop talent, helping our clients reach their vision by catering to their unique needs. This new venture is an expansion of that mission as we aim to bring greater representation to the Latin community in the world of sports.

The addition of Francisco Alvarez further cements Rimas Sports’ presence in the Latin American community. The move may not change the fact that Boras’ status remains unshaken, but it certainly adds a hilarious twist to the ongoing rivalry.

Bad Bunny is taking a page straight out of the Kardashian playbook.
