Travis Kelce is eager to delve deeper into the story behind Taylor Swift’s infamous 2012 Punk’d episode.
On the April 24 episode of his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, along with his brother Jason Kelce, chatted with comedian and actor Andrew Santino.
During the episode, Santino shared his experience of pranking Swift back in 2012 when Justin Bieber was hosting Punk’d. He described how the prank involved Bieber inviting Swift to a house in Malibu under the pretense of setting off fireworks he had brought from Japan.

The scenario escalated when Swift, hesitantly playing along, accidentally triggered a fire by touching a button on a rigged setup.
Santino recounted the elaborate prank setup, explaining how the fire seemed to spread to a boat offshore, which was part of the scene, complete with a wedding party.
He humorously revealed that he played the groom and, after being “rescued,” they confronted Swift on the shore, accusing her of ruining the wedding. The actress playing the bride added to the tension, questioning whether the event was a sign she shouldn’t marry him.
Swift, caught in the elaborate ruse, responded with concern, highlighting her thoughtful nature even in a prank gone extreme.
Travis Kelce, amused by the story, expressed his intention to ask Swift about her recollection of the event, highlighting the memorable and humorous impact of the episode.
“I gotta ask Taylor about that one,” Travis laughed.
