Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is upset with Philadelphia 76ers player Kelly Oubre Jr. following an incident in Wednesday night’s play-in game.
During the game, as Butler went up for a jump shot, Oubre collided with his knee, causing a MCL injury that will sideline Butler for an extended period.
Although it appeared that Butler extended his leg while shooting, which resulted in the contact and his subsequent injury, Butler has expressed his displeasure with Oubre through social media.

On the Miami Heat’s official Instagram account, Butler posted a message to Oubre, stating, “We throwing hands.”
It seems there was no intentional harm meant by Oubre in the play that caused the injury, yet Butler perceives the situation differently.
Despite this, the 76ers secured the win and the No. 7 seed. Meanwhile, the Heat, now without Butler, will face off against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night for the No. 8 seed. The winner of this game will advance to face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs starting Sunday, while the loser will end their season.
